About the event
As the United States continues to be a primary destination for immigrants, it’s crucial for our communities to better understand the intersectionality of immigration, belonging, and inclusion. The Forever Welcome Foundation invites you to join us for our workshop, "Fostering Welcoming Environments Through Inclusive Dialogue," during Welcoming Week.
This workshop is inspired by the need to address critical issues of inclusion and cross-cultural understanding, highlighted by the tragic events in Olathe, Kansas, in 2017, where a hate crime against Srinivas Kuchibhotla deeply impacted the immigrant community. Sunayana Dumala, Kuchibhotla’s widow and founder of the Forever Welcome Foundation, will be facilitating the workshop in person.
Through this interactive workshop, we aim to empower communities to navigate complex immigration issues and foster a sense of belonging for all. Participants will engage in meaningful dialogue and gain practical tools to create more inclusive environments that celebrate diversity.
Register today to be part of this important conversation and help build a welcoming future for everyone.
